Voice of the Martyrs is dedicated to serving persecuted Christians worldwide by providing physical assistance, evangelism materials, and encouragement to suffering believers. They are also dedicated to spreading the word about the persecuted church through their free monthly magazine                  and through sending representatives to speak to churches and other groups who would like to know more about their suffering brothers and sisters in Christ. CAF hosted an event with Tim and Darcie Gill, two of their representatives, in February of 2007.

VOM meeting

We hosted a Christian group from Uganda, First Love, on campus and invited the community. They blessed our hearts with their songs and enthusiasm for God, ministering to those gathered in a special way.

 First Love Concert

CAF/BLAST (Christian Apologetics Fellowship) recently started hosting events with Alabanza on the first Thursday night of every month in the Cafeteria of OWC. On September 6 (the first event this semester), the Alabanza band lead us in praise and worship, and Speaker Jack Wilson from New Guinea preached a very powerful message about relying on God.

Alabanza Event

The Jeremy Gibson Band led in worship with some great songs including "Torn" written by Jeremy Gibson himself. Pastor Dale Julio delivered a powerful message entitled "The Exclusive Claims of Jesus Christ in a Multi-Cultural World."

Alabanza Event-October 04-

On October 26, CAF/BLAST hosted a talk by Dr. Patrick McArthur about Stem Cell Research. About 38 people attended the event. Many thanks to Dr. McArthur for doing this for us. He put a lot of work into it. Thanks also to our faculty sponsors Dr. Jon Bryan and Brian McDowell for helping with all the details and to Daniel Andrews for helping put up the posters to advertise the event.
